Jr. Three’s
(2.9-3.5 year olds)

 
The Jr. three’s class enjoys a structured program that includes circle time, bible stories, Spanish, songs, arts and crafts and science. Music and Motion is one of the many stimulating activities provided. The Jr. three’s have a lot of opportunities to interact with other kids in order to begin learning how to build relationships. They do this through guided learning, interactive playtime, and opportunities to learn social skills. There are plenty of free choice activities such as manipulatives, and lots of outdoor play (weather permitting) to build strong gross motor skills. Achiever is allowed a 1:12 teacher to student ratio by law, but we like to keep our ratios at 1:8, or perhaps 1:10 on busy days. There is a bathroom readily available and the children are able to be taken to the bathroom regularly. Children entering this class must be potty-trained, or actively in the process of being trained.  The teachers in this class will assist you in training.
